If you haven’t watched this yet you need to take 6 minutes and check it out. This is one of the maddest drives I’ve ever seen.
And here’s the 360° view from his first run, which was two seconds slower but every bit as insane.

Mental. There’s a few parts where he’s on gravel in the 360 clip where it looks like he’s really working to get the front tires biting. Was that the run where he said his tires were pretty well scrubbed by that point?
Any idea if there will be a Higgins onboard? How did his time at the halfway compare with Travis’ run(s)?

I doubt they’ll put his whole onboard, but the crash will probably be in Launch Control. No idea how David was doing at halfway on Sunday, but during the Friday and Saturday practice runs he was 3-7 seconds slower per run

Travis said he baked his tires by the dirt on his first run-and made better time by saving them for the top on the second run. I heard (with nothing to back it up-but it might have even been from the team) that Higgins was 2 seconds up when he crashed.

HO. LEE. CHIT.
The wave to the marshal at 5:26 of the video. Classic.
